SCYPN Advisory Committee members met up with several young adult residents and staff of the Cocoon House Monroe location for a meet-n-greet BBQ at Lowell Park Thursday evening. It was a great way to get to know each other in a relaxing, casual atmosphere. Conversation topics included current and future goals and aspirations as well as job skills and opportunities for these future YP's.

This was such a fun event and the teens were very outgoing. I really enjoyed hearing everyone's "first job stories" and listening to the teens/young adults share their goals and aspirations. I am very happy about this program and amd excited to see it develop further.
